Federal Data Protection Commissioner Ulrich Kelber calls for end-to-end encryption

"There is currently no end-to-end encryption. This means that the content of the communication is stored unencrypted on the provider's server. This form of communication is therefore not advisable when personal data is involved", German Federal Data Protection Commissioner Ulrich Kelber told Handelsblatt.
